The Italian part is the stone and the proportion.
“Italian kitchen” is used loosely in Dubai. Sometimes it means a kitchen imported from Italy, which takes three to five months to arrive and cannot be altered once it ships. More often it means a look: long uninterrupted horizontal lines, deep lacquer or veneer fronts, and one slab of marble doing all the talking. We build the second, and we are direct about it — the cabinetry is made in our own workshop in Dubai, and the marble comes from Italian quarries.
That is not a compromise, it is the practical choice. An imported kitchen is made to standard European dimensions and then fitted into a Dubai apartment that is not those dimensions, so the installer packs out the difference. We measure your room and build to it, which is how you get a genuinely wall-to-wall run. The part worth importing is the material: Calacatta, Statuario and Carrara come through the same suppliers either way, and the stone is where the money shows. The cabinets exist to frame it.
Book-matching is what separates a marble kitchen from an expensive one. Two slabs cut from the same block are opened like a book so the veining mirrors across the joint. It has to be planned at the slab yard, before cutting, and the pair has to be bought together. If a quote does not mention book-matching, it is not in it.

Demolition through handover, under one team. One warranty covers the whole job — not just the cabinets — so nothing falls through the gap between trades.
Book-matched marble
Two slabs from the same block, mirrored across the joint. The single most recognisable feature of an Italian kitchen, and the one that has to be planned before the stone is cut.
Lacquered or veneer fronts
Deep multi-coat lacquer in off-white, greige, olive or navy, or a matched walnut veneer. Flat slab doors — no frames, no moulding, nothing that breaks the line.
Long horizontal lines
Wide drawer runs rather than narrow cupboards, continuous handleless rails, and tall units that read as one plane. Italian design is about the horizontal; anything that interrupts it works against the look.
Restraint in the hardware
Brushed brass or blackened steel, used sparingly, or nothing visible at all. One metal, repeated. Mixed finishes are the fastest way to lose the effect.

Are your Italian kitchens actually made in Italy?
The materials are — the marble comes from Italian quarries and the lacquers and hardware are European. The cabinetry is made in our own workshop in Dubai, cut to the measurements of your room. We are direct about that, because an imported kitchen takes three to five months, arrives in standard European sizes, and then has to be packed out to fit a room it was not measured for.
What is book-matched marble?
Two slabs cut in sequence from the same block and opened like a book, so the veining mirrors across the joint. It is what makes a marble island look like one continuous piece of stone. It must be planned at the yard before cutting and the pair bought together, so it cannot be added later.
Is marble practical in a kitchen that gets used?
Honestly, it needs care. Marble etches with lemon, vinegar and wine, and stains with oil if left. Sealing slows both but does not prevent them, and the patina is part of the material rather than a fault. Which Italian marble should I choose?
Calacatta for bold, dramatic veining on a bright white ground; Statuario for a softer grey vein; Carrara for the quietest and most affordable of the three. The names refer to quarry regions, not grades, so two Calacatta slabs can look very different — which is why we take you to see yours.
How is this different from your luxury kitchen page?

Does an Italian-style kitchen cost more?
The cabinetry costs the same as any of our made-to-measure work. The stone is where the number moves — book-matched Calacatta can be several times the cost of quartz for the same worktop area, and a waterfall island uses around 40% more of it. We price the stone separately so you can see exactly what that decision costs.
