Most kitchens are not too small. They are badly organised.
The back of a deep cupboard is dead space. So is the corner unit you have to kneel down and reach into, the 150mm gap beside the fridge, and the 400mm between the top of your wall units and the ceiling. In a typical Dubai apartment kitchen that adds up to a significant share of the storage you paid for and cannot use. Nothing about the room has to change to get it back — only the way the units are built.
That is why we build to the room rather than to a size chart. A pull-out larder brings the whole cupboard out to you so nothing is stored behind anything. A corner carousel or magic-corner mechanism makes the dead corner usable. Drawers replace cupboards on the base units, because you can see the back of a drawer without emptying it. And the run goes to the ceiling, which is the single biggest gain in most kitchens. These are the same custom kitchen cabinets we build for every job — the storage is engineered in, not sold as an upgrade. Before we design it we ask what you actually store. A family buying rice and oil in bulk needs different larder depths from a couple who shop weekly. Tall bottles, stand mixers, air fryers, a spice collection, sacks — every one of those changes a shelf height. It is a ten-minute conversation at the site visit and it is the difference between storage that fits and storage that looks good in a render.

FAQs
How do I get more storage without making my kitchen bigger?
Four changes recover most of it: run the units to the ceiling, replace base cupboards with drawers, put a mechanism in the dead corner, and add a pull-out larder instead of a deep cupboard. None of them changes the footprint of the room, and together they typically add 30–40% usable capacity.
Is a pull-out larder worth the cost?
In a small kitchen, it is usually the single best value item in the whole job. A deep cupboard of the same width holds a similar volume but you cannot reach half of it, so in practice you use the front third. A larder makes all of it reachable. In a large kitchen with a walk-in pantry, it matters less.
What is a magic corner, and do I need one?
It is a pull-out mechanism that swings the back of a corner unit out into the room. You need it if your layout has an L-shape or U-shape corner — which most do. Without it, that corner is usually the least-used cubic metre in the kitchen.
Are drawers really better than cupboards?
For base units, almost always. You see the back of a drawer without kneeling down and emptying the front, and heavy pans come out at waist height rather than off the floor. Cupboards still make sense for tall or awkward items and under the sink.
Can you add storage to my existing kitchen without replacing it?
Sometimes — new internal mechanisms can be retrofitted into sound carcasses, and a gap can be filled with a made-to-measure unit. But if the carcasses are chipboard and have started to swell, new runners will not hold. We tell you which you have at the site visit. Does extra storage add much to the cost of a kitchen?
Ceiling-height units and drawers instead of cupboards add relatively little, because it is the same carcass built differently. Mechanisms — larders, carousels, internal dividers — are the part that adds cost, and we price each one separately so you can choose. Our cost calculator gives a rough figure before the site visit.
